Shakira and Gerard Pique Travel to Czech Republic After Breakup

“Her only interest is the happiness of her children and she will focus completely on that”

After Shakira (45) and Gerard Piqué (35) announced the end of their relationship last weekend, the two were spotted at their son’s baseball game in the Czech Republic. Although the two were not together, they were both there to encourage their child ‘Entertainment Tonight’ reports.

Although both Shakira and Gerard have not given a reason for their breakup, the Spanish footballer is said to have cheated on the singer several times during their relationship. After Shakira allegedly caught him in the act with another woman, Gerard moved out of their mutual house a couple of months ago.

The couple, who had been together since 2010, have two sons: Milan (9) and Sasha (7). Shakira and Gerard met on set during the shooting of her music video for the song ‘Waka Waka (This Is Time For Africa)’, which became the theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

According to insiders, the singer had tried several times to fix her relationship with Gerard, but after she was cheated on for the umpteenth time, she finally had enough. “Her only interest is the happiness of her children and she will focus on that, no matter how painful it is that their father no longer lives with them.”
